Jodi Yager, PhD, R. Psych

I am a registered psychologist and an experienced clinician who brings a warm, calm, and astute approach to my work. I am recognized as a Qualified Specialist in the province of British Columbia for the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. At Compass Clinic, I conduct private autism and psycho-educational assessments for children and adolescents as well as provincially contracted autism assessments. I completed my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo and my PhD at Simon Fraser University. My doctoral studies focused on social competence in Autism Spectrum Disorder and I received scholarships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR), and the CIHR Autism Research Training Program. I interned at Alberta Childrens Hospital where I refined my skills working with children and youth with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and mood/anxiety disorders. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy hiking, skiing, and travelling with my family.
