“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking down your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.” ~ Mark Twain

I am a Paediatrician with 25 years experience working with children with developmental differences. I am a good listener and am able to provide families with practical advice and direction. My areas of expertise include ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I completed my medical degree at the University of Cape Town, South Africa and did my Paediatric Residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital , New York and Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. My training included a year of Child Psychiatry in Toronto. I am a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Physicians and Surgeons, BC.

I have worked in Vancouver in many areas of Paediatrics and was part of the BCAAN team at Sunny Hill for 15 years in the Autism Clinic. I also worked for Northern Health Authority doing Autism assessments in several towns in Northern BC. I worked in the ADHD clinic at BCCH for many years and now divide my time between my Paediatric practice and my duties as a diagnostician in the field of Autism.

When I am not working I love to travel the world and I enjoy hiking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
